Looking for a new volunteer experience? We are always looking for great volunteers who want to be a part of the lifelong educational journey of their community. Here are a few of our on-going volunteer opportunties:

Interested in Volunteering?

STEP 1 - Inquire

  • Contact Sarah Berres at 763-433-4221 or for more information about volunteering with Metro North ABE. 
  • Schedule to attend an upcoming orientation.

STEP 2 - Attend volunteer orientation

  • Learn about Metro North and adult basic education.
  • Meet one-on-one with staff to match your interests with our current needs.

STEP 3 - Begin volunteering

  • Attend Pre-Service training or provide proof of supplemental training; Teaching certificate, TESL or TOEFL.
  • Attend orientation with the site volunteer contact and assigned instructor.
  • Start your service!
